Getting Started

What you are walking into

SCP Facility Experience is a free-to-play Roblox co-op horror experience built by K.M.T Studio (solo-developed by @yolorexthe_best). Inspired by SCP: Containment Breach, it drops you into a Foundation-style site packed with contained anomalies—096, 106, 173, 035, 049, 008, 009, 294, 409, 457, 500, 6551, and more—while events like containment breaches and facility blackouts keep every run unstable.

You can explore as a human survivor, team up for cash multipliers, and later play as SCP-035 or SCP-049-2. This guide is the day-one checklist so you do not waste your first session dying in the dark without bonuses.

Official place: SCP Facility Experience on Roblox.

Step 0 — Launch and settings

  1. Open the Roblox experience from the official game page (PlaceId 78519483226735).
  2. Let shaders/UI finish loading before sprinting into unlabeled wings.
  3. Enable a mic or prepare quick text callouts if you play with friends—co-op is a core feature.
  4. Skim key binds once using our Controls page (especially blink B / L2 and Night Vision N / D-Pad Up).

If menus feel cramped on console, practice closing panels with B so you are not trapped in UI during a breach alarm.

Step 1 — Claim permanent account bonuses

Before deep loot greed:

  1. Join the developer’s Roblox group associated with K.M.T Studio / Yolorex when prompted or linked from the game page. The experience advertises a free pack plus an extra x1.2 cash style bonus for group members.
  2. Invite a friend into your server for the x1.2 cash with a friend multiplier.
  3. Stacking social bonuses early makes deaths less punishing while you learn layouts.

These multipliers do not make you immortal. They do fund better loadouts faster so your second hour feels less bare.

Step 2 — Redeem every active code

Open the Codes Hub and redeem current strings. As of November 2026 research, Halloween-themed actives include:

  • CANDY
  • JACK-O-STATUE
  • HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Follow How to Redeem Codes if the UI is unclear. Seasonal codes may stop around the event window mentioned in the game description (about November 9). Do this before a long breach-heavy session.

Step 3 — First exploration loop (safe-ish)

Your first goal is orientation, not heroics:

  1. Learn the difference between well-lit hubs and dark spurs where NV matters.
  2. Interact with marked objects using E / X—doors, buttons, event props.
  3. Listen for audio telegraphs of breaches or blackouts; do not ignore facility alarms.
  4. Travel with at least one teammate when possible; split only for short, called-out tasks.
  5. Mentally note chambers that reference famous numbers (173, 096, 106) so you can prioritize callouts using the SCP Tier List.

Loot greed kills beginners. If the lights die, stop sprinting blind corners—toggle Night Vision / SCRAMBLE and regroup.

Step 4 — Breach basics on day one

Containment breaches are the headline event loop. When alarms hit:

  • Converge on agreed rally points instead of scattering into three dead ends.
  • Assign lookers for SCP-173 so blink windows stay covered.
  • Never peek SCP-096’s face “just to see.”
  • Treat SCP-106 pressure as a route problem—keep exits open.
  • After surviving, help with recontainment tasks if the mode asks; cash rewards favor players who finish the loop, not only those who hid in a closet.

Deeper tactics live in Survive a Containment Breach. Read it after one live breach so the advice sticks.

Step 5 — Optional: try the other side

Once you understand survivor panic, queue or unlock playable SCP time. Start with the fantasy that appeals to you:

  • SCP-035 — mask / possession identity
  • SCP-049-2 — relentless infected pressure

Special attack is F / Y. Tips and hunt patterns are in Play as SCP.

Step 6 — Seasonal content while it lasts

If you joined during Halloween, complete candy doors, Mr. Yolo quests, and exclusive reward tracks covered in the Halloween Event guide. Event objectives are time-boxed; do not assume they wait for “later this month.”
